Don't let the bizarre, misguided poster stop you from watching this. "Balls Out" is one of the sharpest spoof comedies I've seen in a long time and the most quotable movie of 2015. Its adherence to sports film cliches for the sake of parody does result in a romantic subplot that sometimes slows the comedy down uncomfortably, but not quite to a halt. So, so, so much fun to be had here, with a fantastic ensemble cast and 9/11 inspired glitter.

A bottle episode idea that can be summed up in 5 minutes, but extenuated and given sidestep jokes and puns on the way up to the last minute. Funny, but not robust. B

It may not be completely polished, but I laughed out loud every few minutes, which is way more than I expected going into this sports movie parody comedy.

What a stupid movie.... yet I loved every minute of it

Like many have pointed out, it does have some flaws (terrible marketing, some forced moments), but it boasts some of the highest highs in independent comedy movies.
