I watched this 3 years ago at a film festival with a full theatre, so I thought that maybe I only liked the movie because of the situation in which I saw it. I'm glad to say I still enjoyed it. The premise is bizarre, of course, but if you can suspend your disbelief for that, I found most of the performances to actually be realistic. They had built up enough goodwill that I could ignore some of the unrealistic parts at the end.

Part Todd Solondz, part Todd Field and part Mike Judge.

Like an overly long, but quite enjoyable episode of Family Ties.

"You know that moment when you realize you’re so deep into a lie there’s no easy way to turn back? Preggoland is exactly that. Except it’s also much more than that."
