this is a very languid film and relatively simple, but i'm so easily sold on people with powers stories that it's no surprise i liked this. i do wish there was more backstory throughout though, just to give the film a little more structure and depth. but the performances are wonderful and a real selling point, even if people wouldn't typically like a film like this. kiernan and timothée are splendid together and on their own.

Timothee Chalamet’s tremendous act in this one. Having a teleportation powers, with a loving support mom and a coward dad, two siblings must always need each other. It was very interesting and I really enjoyed it for the night. Also, this is the first time I watched Kiernan Shipka as she’ll be in the Netflix’s new series as Sabrina Spellman. Not bad, not bad.
