this is a very languid film and relatively simple, but i'm so easily sold on people with powers stories that it's no surprise i liked this. i do wish there was more backstory throughout though, just to give the film a little more structure and depth. but the performances are wonderful and a real selling point, even if people wouldn't typically like a film like this. kiernan and timothée are splendid together and on their own.

Sally Drapper lives in woods with Dude With Stupid Name Who Is Gonna Bone Armie Hammer in That Movie That Comes Out This Summer (i'll figure out a short nickname for him). They can teleport.

    would've gotten a full extra star if m83 didn't f*cking play

Superpowered siblings brought up by a loving mother, abused by a cruel-hearted father, brainwashed and isolated from the world, breaking away and forging a bond that could rival the greatest of romances. Sound familiar?
