This is the kind of documentary that matters. That are necessary, essential viewing for everyone. From Raphael Lemkin to the actual prosecutor at the ICC in the Hague Ocampo, we watch how good people fight their titanic battles against genocide and go almost unheard and met with indifference by the powers that be. Impossible not to get upset and surprisingly moving towards the end.

A little long and a little wordy (don't put so much actual script on the screen, people), but an essential subject matter about which not enough is known. Content trumps any form mistakes. See it.

Despite some formal issues (like an over reliance on on-screen text), I think this a very powerful and essential film. It's a shame that it has received virtually no attention at all.

Essential viewing indeed, although ultimately more noteworthy for its subject matter than for its presentation. Although there is something especially haunting about the way Lemkin's words are presented via text over painterly animated flourishes.
