Such a terrific oddball of a movie. It's certainly a stretch, but is not that far off, calling it a bittersweet melancholic Wild Tales, with an aspect ratio and cinematography reminiscent of Mommy, excepting a subtler color palette, and a comedic sensibility distinctly close to Roy Andersson's Living trilogy. Three amazingly fascinating tales having basically the longing for someone in common and only loosely connected with each other. It loses a little bit of steam by the last third of the picture, but nothing that sinks the whole endeavor. The scene where an American astronaut jokingly spoils a French soap-opera for the extremely invested old Algerian lady who has been hosting him it's the highlight for sure.

I laughed and cried at the same time. A beautiful movie for dreamers...

Wow! Imagine how great this film is that Isabelle hupperte is its least interesting character. 3 individual stories and each one of them would be a masterpiece even if made as a separate film.

¿Cómo podía gustarme el cine antes de que me sucediera Isabelle Huppert?
